Visit Booth PO1, Hall 2

EYSINS, SWITZERLAND – Visitors to Kodak’s booth (PO1 in Hall 2) at the upcoming Hunkeler Innovationdays (HID) will see some of the industry’s most advanced solutions for commercial, book and newspaper printing applications.  About 4,000 attendees are expected at the biannual event, being held in Lucerne, Switzerland from 23-26 February.

Solutions being demonstrated or highlighted include:

The KODAK PROSPER Press Platform which has been used to print more than 30 billion pages around the world, will be used by Kodak and Hunkeler at HID to produce a full-color 12-page show publication. The publication will be pre-printed on the KODAK PROSPER 5000XLi Press in both tabloid and broadsheet format, and finished onsite using Hunkeler’s new Advanced Newspaper Solution.

Samples made using the KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Press, which offers extensive creative possibilities with options to add coatings, special colors and even embossed effects inline.

KODAK PROSPER S-Series Imprinting Systems, which customers have used to add variable data capability to their web-fed offset presses, but which are increasingly being used by sheet-fed commercial print customers as well.

Throughout the event, Kodak’s team of experts will provide live demonstrations, share samples and technical knowledge, and discuss applications.  Also, Kodak and several of its customers will participate in roundtable discussions at the Interquest Digital Printing Forum and Doxnet events that happen in conjunction with HID.

“Kodak is committed to bringing our customers innovative, market-leading technology, and are confident that our Hunkeler booth will demonstrate how customers are using that technology to thrive in today’s ever-changing marketplace,” said Philip Cullimore, President of Kodak’s Enterprise Inkjet Systems Division.
