Appleton Coated Expands Pharmaceutical Insert Offering with Introduction of High Bright Product Line

Combined Locks, Wis. –  Appleton Coated is expanding its Pharmaceutical Insert (PI) Opaque offering with the introduction of a new High Bright product. PI Opaque High Bright is designed and manufactured specifically for high-speed production of pharmaceutical insert and onsert projects in both traditional offset and high-speed web inkjet platforms.
 
The line includes products for dye-based and pigment-based web inkjet platforms as well as with ColorPRO® technology for the HP® T-series platforms.

Appleton Coated Pharma Insert Opaque High Bright is available in 24-, 26-, 27-, 30-, 35-, and 40-pound basis weights in rolls and sheets for offset and rolls only for web inkjet. Acid free, enhanced elemental chlorine-free (EECF) and pH neutral, it may be ordered with postconsumer recovered fiber (PCRF), as FSC® certified (FSC® C007796); SFI® certified; PEFC® certified and with Green-e® certified Green Power.For all grades that carry the Green Power designation, 100% of the electricity used to manufacture these products is matched with renewable energy credits (RECs) from Green-e certified energy sources, primarily wind.
