WhiteFX Recognized as One of the Top Packaging Innovations of 2014

Press release from the issuing company

PAC Symposium attendees vote for WhiteFX™ impact on cleaning up “dirty whites” in flexible package printing

Toronto, ON - Last week, CSW, Inc. was named one of the top three winners at the PAC Symposium Packaging Innovators Competition for it’s game-changing WhiteFX™ technology. Seven companies were short-listed to present their packaging innovations to a crowd of about 180 packaging professionals and industry leaders. Attendees voted in real time to determine the winners.

Marek Skrzynski, CSW’s Director of Graphics R&D, discussed the impact that the company’s WhiteFX™ Ink Transfer Solution has on one of the “dirty” little secrets of flexible package printing: the difficulty in achieving smooth laydown of white ink without wasting time, money, and material. Attendees enjoyed a demonstration that reviewed “dirty whites” on packaging currently in-market, against WhiteFX™ print samples that showcase better ink laydown, reduced mottle/pinholing, and improved color vibrancy.

Along with submissions from other finalists, CSW’s innovation will be on display at PACKEX Montreal in November, PACKEX Toronto in June, and will be entered into the PAC Leadership Awards Competition for 2015.
