Pitman Signs Distribution Deal with Sun Chemical

Totowa, NJ -- Pitman Company, North America’s leading sales, distribution and consulting company, signed a national distribution agreement with Sun Chemical.  This agreement will enable Pitman to distribute Sun Chemical’s full line of commercial inks to the U. S. market.  Together, Pitman and Sun will jointly provide customers with technical and product support.   

Pitman continues it’s commitment to providing solutions which are state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly and meet customer requirements.  As a color management company, Pitman takes great pride in employing our technical resources to efficiently integrate workflow solutions, compatible consumable packages and processes that are focused on improve proof-to-press matches.

According to Pitman’s Vice President, Pressroom Products, Dwight Collier,  “our new printing ink sales, distribution and service program, with Sun Chemical, expands our ability to provide a best-in-class program by offering:  1) a broadened and expanded product portfolio in conventional sheetfed, heatset and coldest web, forms, UV and well as flexographics inks for the narrow web tag and label market;  2)  a partnership with a world-class manufacturer and leader in printing ink systems and pressroom solutions; 3) a program with a greater focused on customer service and technical support; and 4) a process optimization approach that focused on improving quality and consistency, by employing total “workflow color managed printing”, leading to improve business efficiencies.”
