Trekk Expands Video and Augmented Reality Capabilities

Press release from the issuing company

New studio space helps marketing communications agency meet client need for interactive experiences.

Rockford, IL - Multi-channel marketing communications agency, Trekk, has built a new photography and video studio to support its growing augmented reality and video capabilities. While the services offered aren't new, requests for them has grown exponentially.

"As our clients continue to seek out interactive experiences to engage audiences, we found that we were quickly outgrowing our video production space," said Nick Grobe, Trekk's Director of Interactive Services. "This new studio and new equipment will allow us to meet the growing demand for video and augmented reality."

The recently completed space contains a massive green screen for incorporating advanced special effects and compositing images and video streams. It also offers ample space for Trekk staff to produce photography, video and augmented reality experiences for client campaigns, collateral and web projects.

Interactive has become an increasingly important part of Trekk's services as mobile devices continue to change the communications landscape.

"The new mobile reality has raised expectations," said MJ Anderson, partner and Chief Marketing Officer at Trekk. "Very shortly, we'll all just expect the things we come into contact with daily to have additional experiences waiting for us. And as marketers, we know that if we can communicate with someone through an interactive experience, we have a higher likelihood of continuing a dialogue or fulfilling a customer need."
