INX International to showcase "The FX of INX", unique flexo capabilities at FFTA Info*Flex

Press release from the issuing company

Schaumburg, IL – With “The FX of INX” and intriguing ink options, INX International Ink Co. (booths 529 & 628) will showcase water, solvent and UV based flexo inks and more at the FFTA Info*Flex 2014 Forum, taking place April 28-29 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

The low-cost, high-performance inks include multiple substrate options for Tag & Label, Pouch & Sleeve, Corrugated, Envelope, Carton and Bag.  Also being featured is INXKote® water-based and an array of solvent-based coatings that can deliver the gloss, rub resistance, UV coatability and other properties to meet packaging demands.

INX introduced two new high speed lamination inks that perform exceptionally well and print cleanly at very high press speeds of 2000 feet per minute.  Synergy™ and Innova™ make a perfect choice for use with general purpose snack food packaging or flexo printed retort pouches, and will be on display at the show.  INX UV LED inks cure with as little as one LED UV lamp, consuming less electricity while virtually eliminating the heat and odor associated with UV curing.  Say goodbye to powder-filled press rooms, IR/Hot Air dryers, marking problems and waiting for sheets to dry.

Low Migration inks and coatings will attract a good amount of attention.  As Food Packaging protocols throughout the world continue to be updated on a frequent basis, show visitors can request a free copy of “Low Migration Inks in Packaging”.  The comprehensive guide will help food package providers navigate and understand the challenges the packaging industry faces, detailing the most relevant regulations and standards and offering supply chain links, responsibilities and recommendations for print production processes.

INX will also address the specialty inks market.  Earlier this year, INX joined forces with Chromatic Technologies Inc. to offer customers chemistry to drive purchases, ensure freshness, increase safety and prevent fraud.  Special effect offerings include temperature reactive, glow-in-the-dark and color change photochromic inks, as well as reveal and security inks.
