Boutwell Owens and Co. and INX Join PPC

Press release from the issuing company

Boutwell Owens and Co., Inc. recently joined the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) as a Principal member and INX International Ink Co. joined as an Associate member.

Boutwell Owens (www.boutwellowens.com) of Fitchburg, MA is a printing and packaging manufacturer of folding cartons and blister cards that has been in business for over 125 years. They make skin packaging, folders, inserts, and labels for the pharmaceutical, electronics, and cosmetic industries on offset, web, flexo, and digital presses.

Among North America’s top three ink providers—and in business since 1896--INX International Ink Co. (www.inxinternational.com) of Schaumberg, IL focuses on ink and coating formulations for printing. They provide environmentally conscious ink systems and services for paper-based packaging as well as digital printing operations. INX also provides low migration inks and coatings that are in compliance with the EuPIA Guideline on Printing Inks.

“We’re heartily welcome both companies to PPC,” says Ben Markens, president of PPC. “We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them. Both companies have been in business for well over a century, which is a testament to the ongoing value they provide their customers. PPC aims to provide the same value so that they can continue to thrive for another century.”
