Hot Press range goes on tour with Wessex Pictures to demonstrate the skills of turning pictures into profit

Tuesday, March 25, 2014

Press release from the issuing company

Bristol, UKHot Press, the UK’s leading supplier of print finishing products for photographers and picture framers, has signed up Wessex Pictures as its exclusive distributor for the UK & Ireland.  Under the agreement, Wessex Pictures now distributes the full Hot Press range including cold laminators and over-lamination films, hot glass presses, heatseal laminates and mounting tissues throughout the region.

Following the announcement of its appointment, Wessex Pictures, a leading wholesaler for picture framers with over 30 years of experience, has announced a series of ‘drop in days’ during which interested parties can learn the art of mounting and laminating – for free.  The events will teach attendees the skills necessary to turn their pictures into fully-finished marketable products in order to boost profits.

Targeted at anyone involved in professional photography and those who print, frame or finish images, the ‘drop in days’ offer a casual and unique opportunity to discuss ways of boosting business applications.  The events commence at the end of March 2014 and run on selected dates throughout the year.  Visitors are invited to simply pop-in at the venue most convenient to them or – should they wish – they can stay all day.

The events will be hosted by Wessex Pictures’ Steve Goodall, a leading expert in the field of photo mounting and laminating.  He has more than 30 years in the print finishing trade and has a wealth of knowledge to pass on.

With no need to register, no admittance fee and plenty of free parking on site, the ‘drop in days’ have been designed to be as flexible and informal as possible.  Ashley Younger from Wessex Pictures comments, “We are really looking forward to these events and have already received a lot of feedback from customers who have told us they plan to attend.  Steve Goodall always puts on a good show and has plenty of new things to show even the most experienced Hot Press user.”

All of Hot Press’ materials are manufactured at the company’s Bristol, UK, factory.  The company also manufactures the unique, heated glass-top vacuum press and supply cutters, boards and all the tools to the photographic and framing industries worldwide.
