Harris & Bruno Discusses Obtaining High Quality Coating on Digital Print at PRINT UV

Monday, March 03, 2014

Press release from the issuing company

Panel of machinery and coating experts will discuss successful emerging technologies
How do digital inks respond to coating? What machinery components are best for which digital press? Are specialized coating chemistries needed? These and other questions will be explored by Harris & Bruno staff and other industry experts during a panel discussion at the PRINT UV annual trade show March 2-4 in Las Vegas.

Harris & Bruno VP of Sales & Marketing Scott Michels will moderate the March 4 discussion. The panel will be comprised of machinery and coating experts and an award-winning printer from Southern California.

“Printers are looking for increased coating ability over their digital prints,” Michels said. “This forum will be an educational discussion about what machinery and coating suppliers have learned. How far we’ve come will be shown by allowing those in attendance to compare offset prints coated via offset tower with various digital prints coated via an offline coater.”

The PRINT UV Conference is the premier all-in-one conference event for leaders in the global UV printing industry. Attendees meet annually in Las Vegas to network, engage with printers and leading suppliers, uncover new ideas and growth opportunities, dive deep into core UV processes with experts from multiple fields and hear case studies from successful UV print initiatives around the world.
