Cincinnati’s Harlan Doubles Down on Fast Turnaround of High-Quality Output With a New Rho P10 320R Roll Printer

Press release from the issuing company

‘Wanted to Make Sure We Went With Best Equipment Available in Our Industry’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Harlan Graphic Arts Services of Cincinnati, a family-owned print provider with a reputation for fast turnaround of high-quality wide-format output, strengthened that capability with the recent addition of a 10.5-foot (3.2-meter), 10-picoliter Durst Rho P10 320R UV Inkjet Digital Roll-to-Roll Printer.

Founded in 1980, Harlan specializes in wide-format digital printing and fulfillment.  Harlan President Jeff Ehrman said the company brings a consultative approach and complete solutions to its clients in the retail, corporate, restaurant, hospitality, design and other markets.

“This is an evolving industry, and our clients require the highest quality product combined with the fastest turnaround time possible.  So we’re constantly researching and investing in the latest in digital print technology,” Ehrman said.  “The P10 320R gives us exactly that:  the best quality at high speed.  It’s something we’re certain our clients will notice.

“We visited the Durst factories and were most impressed with the precision machine building, technology, and overall quality,” Ehrman said.  “We wanted to make sure we went with the best equipment available in our industry and we’re confident we’ve done so.  All of us here at Harlan are looking forward to a long partnership with Durst.”

The Rho P10 320R is a member of Durst’s Rho P10 Series of printers, designed specifically to produce a variety of hand-held and eye-level materials – backlit signage, POP and commercial displays, small packages, etc. – cost-effectively and at production speeds.  It is equipped with Durst’s Quadro® Array 10 print head technology to produce outstanding quality images with up to 1,000-dpi print resolution.

The Rho P10 320R has established a new quality standard for industrial roll-to-roll printing.  Precision components developed by Durst include a proprietary magnetic linear drive carriage system for efficient, accurate printing.  The Rho P10 32R also prints directly onto textiles and stretch media, with top output speeds of up to 2,000 s.f./hr.  Productivity is enhanced by its ability to print two five-ft. rolls side by side, with different images on each.  The single large roll option allows for uninterrupted operation.

“We’re very pleased that Harlan has joined the Durst family, and we’re proud of the confidence they’ve placed in our Rho P10 320R and in us,” said Christopher Howard, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Durst U.S.
