RPI Partners with Evite to Provide Print-on-Demand and Fulfillment Services for Evite Ink

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

Press release from the issuing company

RPI’s technology and expertise creates a seamless experience for Evite users to create and mail custom printed invitations to their guests

SEATTLE – RPI, a leader in delivering personalized print products to businesses worldwide, announced today that it has joined forces with Evite®, the leader in digital invitations and social planning, to enhance the party brand’s first integrated, online-offline invitation platform—Evite Ink.

With this partnership, RPI will supply the back-end print and fulfillment horsepower that enables Evite customers to send digital or printed invitations to anyone on a guest list.

“Digital invitations are incredible tools for spreading the word fast and efficiently, but sometimes can get lost in the barrage of digital information coming at us every day,” said Rick Bellamy, chief executive officer of RPI. “A beautiful printed invitation has high impact and makes the recipient feel special. Our print-on-demand technology and fulfillment expertise creates a simple and frictionless experience for Evite’s loyal customers.”

Evite Ink works similarly to the traditional Evite site in that users can browse, customize and send their guests invites in just a few clicks. Once a user finalizes their invitations, RPI prints them on 4” x 6” cards, inserts them in custom-designed envelopes and mails them to the designated list of addresses. Hosts can still track their guests’ responses in the same way that they’ve grown accustomed to with Evite – online and in one place.

"With the introduction of Evite Ink, we are marrying the ease and utility of Evite's traditional online service with the ability to mail out physical invitations to guests,” said Jennifer Kelly Dominiquini, chief marketing officer at Evite. “We’re excited to partner with RPI and deliver quality invitations so the community can have the best of both worlds.”
