Speakers for PPC Spring Meeting To Discuss Economy, Social Media, Forestry

SPRINGFIELD, MA - Experts in capital markets, the economy, the forestry industry, and social media will share their research and business forecasts at the Paperboard Packaging Council’s Spring Meeting: Outlook and Strategies Conference, on April 2-4, 2014 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, LA.

Speakers include:

Alan Beaulieu, celebrated economist from the Institute of Trend Research, will reveal how the latest global economic trends will affect the paperboard packaging industry.
 
Jim Hill, partner and executive chairman at Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, will explain the current state of the capital markets and the legal and business implications of mergers, acquisitions, and growth capital.
 
Bill HornellManaging Director of Investment Banking at Mesirow Financial, will review recent developments in packaging mergers and acquisitions, including the role of private equity and the impact on transaction valuations.
 
Author of the highly acclaimed book American Canopy: Trees, Forests, and the Making of a NationEric Rutkow will discuss the rich political, historical, and environmental implications of the American forestry industry.
 
Neil Hair of The Innovative Learning Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology will cover trends in social media and what all business owners need to know moving forward in 2014.
