Chesapeake wins a gold at Spirits Design Masters

Press release from the issuing company

Chesapeake Scotland has just won a Gold Award at this year’s Spirits Design Masters. The award was presented for a spirally-wound tube produced to celebrate the 150 year anniversary of Bacardi Rum.

James Clark, Global Sales Director – Drinks, takes up the story: “This limited edition tube was largely produced for the travel retail market but was also shipped to markets in Germany, USA and Japan. The tube’s outer wrap was printed in 7 colours with a UV Varnish on a special paper stock enhanced with gold foil blocking to emphasise the pack’s striking colours and graphics. The tube’s metal lid is debossed with the iconic Bacardi bat logo to further lift the pack’s presentation.”

The Spirit Masters series has fast become one of the most respected and high profile trade competitions in the drinks industry, attracting large numbers of entries from leading brands all over the world.
