PPC Completes Benchmarking Report for Rigid Box Manufacturers

Press release from the issuing company

SPRINGFIELD, MA - The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC), the leading trade association representing North American rigid box converters and suppliers, recently compiled wide-ranging data on their operations, establishing the most complete benchmarking report for rigid box manufacturers to date.

The report is part of an ongoing effort to grow the already rich resources available to rigid box members, and is designed to help members determine how each company compares to the group in terms of machine hour rates, stock board inventories, waste generation, and make-ready times. Other initiatives for PPC rigid box members include a specialized committee, free tabletops at the biannual conferences, biannual networking summits, public promotion of the benefits of rigid boxes, and much more.

“Establishing a benchmarking program for rigid box converters enhances our current robust value proposition,” noted Ben Markens, President of PPC. “We look forward to expanding upon this key survey in the months to come and welcome the participation of all rigid box manufacturers.”
