Senate Committee Votes Favorably on Public Printer Nomination

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Senate Rules and Administration Committee has voted to report the Public Printer nomination of Davita Vance-Cooks out of committee to the full Senate for consideration. President Barack Obama nominated Davita Vance-Cooks on May 8, 2013 and she testified before the committee confirmation hearing on June 12. She has served as the U.S. Government Printing Office’s (GPO) Acting Public Printer since January 3, 2012.
