Monday, July 08, 2013

Press release from the issuing company

PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, has announced that leading global technology company Ricoh will be a Gold Sponsor at the second PODi European AppForum to be held on 25th September 2013 in London.

“As a global General Technical member of PODi we are excited to support the next PODi European AppForum as a Gold Sponsor”, says Graham Moore, Director, Business Development, Ricoh Europe. “The PODi AppForums in Europe and the USA are where the industry thought leaders discuss the applications, solutions and services that go beyond print to create value for customers. The European AppForum will be an ideal environment to discover how users of Ricoh solutions have moved beyond regular print jobs with new profitable value-added services”.

The theme of PODi’s annual European AppForum in 2013 is about creating customer value.

The keynote presentations and real-world case studies will focus on practical applications of digital printing to show how print media and the online world interact to create new value streams for businesses and consumers.

“I am delighted to be able to announce Ricoh as a Gold Sponsor of the PODi European AppForum”, said Tony Hodgson, Director of PODi in Europe. “Ricoh has, like PODi, a deep understanding and long-term vision of the transformational changes affecting the printing industry. Ricoh will provide insights and perspectives that will enable PODi members and conference delegates to see the rich business growth potential in combining digital printing with online media and other application opportunities”.
