PrintWorks & Company, Inc. announces partnership with Southeastern PA Moving Wall Exhibit

Press release from the issuing company

Historic Exhibit of “The Moving Wall” scheduled for June 27-July 1, 2013

Lansdale, PA - PrintWorks & Company, Inc. has partnered with the Southeastern PA Moving Wall Exhibit to help promote the early summer arrival of The Moving Wall, a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C.

“We’re proud to be a Platinum Sponsor for this exhibition of The Moving Wall,” said Martin Wolfe, president of PrintWorks & Company. “We feel honored to have a big part in helping to bring this monument to Southeastern Pennsylvania, allowing our local community an opportunity to visit this historic display and to pay tribute to the men and women who lost their lives while serving our nation in the Vietnam War, as well as all those who have ever served past and present.”

Built by John Devitt, a former helicopter door gunner and Army veteran, this dramatic half-scale replica is slightly over 250 feet long and will be displayed on the Hatfield American Legion Post 933 grounds, located at 2100 Koffel Road, Hatfield, PA from June 27-July 1. The Moving Wall Exhibit, which includes an information center will be open 24 hours a day during this time, at no cost to the public. In addition to honoring our Vietnam veterans, this event will be a terrific educational opportunity for the current generation.

"When you think about it," Devitt says, "two or three million people visit the Wall every year. There are ten or twenty times that many people, who, for whatever reason, will never be able to make the trip to Washington."

“Many veterans as well as our fellow citizens have never seen the actual Memorial Wall or experienced the effect of its stark reality,” said Ralph Kett, president of Southeastern PA Moving Wall organization. “Standing there face to face with the 58,000 names inscribed on the Wall is a moving experience and will be an emotional event for everyone. We look forward to seeing you here, and hope you recognize the terrific opportunity to support and be a part of this tremendous undertaking.”
