vjoon Overset Manager Now Compatible with Adobe Creative Cloud

Press release from the issuing company

Hamburgvjoon GmbH, a global leader in multichannel publishing software and an Adobe Technology Partner of long standing, has stepped up its support for customers who use Adobe Creative Cloud for professional purposes. The latest version of vjoon Overset Manager is available effective immediately. This popular vjoon plug-in now supports Adobe InDesign CC and InCopy CC. Further efficiency-enhancing plug-ins such as vjoon Notes Manager™ and vjoon Content Activator™ are to follow and will also be compatible with Adobe Creative Cloud products.

More efficient processes with vjoon Overset Manager
Editors and writers can work more productively in their publishing environment with this easy-to-install plug-in. vjoon Overset Manager measures the length of a specific text frame, column or the entire text flow on the fly without interrupting the writer or editor’s creative process. It also counts overset text in real time and shows this overflow in a special frame highlighted with a background color. This makes it so much easier to write copy to fit the layout. The plug-in issues a warning to call the user’s attention to potential overset when printing, ensuring text is no longer cut off in publications. vjoon K4 and the plug-in also alert the writer or editor to overset text when a task is a completed. And courtesy of its compatibility with the new Cloud products, the vjoon Overset Manager is ready today to be part of the efficient publishing environments media companies and corporate publishers are sure to be using tomorrow.

Flexible rental options have been available for years at vjoon
vjoon has enjoyed considerable success over the years with a rental solution that can be tailored precisely to companies’ needs. Customers are free to choose a remotely hosted solution or a locally installed system.Users who already employ vjoon K4 can rent as many more K4 seats as they need, simply adding them to an up-and-running system, for example to handle peak workloads.“Adobe decided to go with a paradigm shift in its marketing and upgrading policy to take into account the growing acceptance for subscription-only and Cloud products,” says vjoon GmbH CEO Andreas Schrader. “What’s most important to us is that our customers are able to choose the best fit among our attractive price models and keep their investments low.”

vjoon K4 for Adobe Creative Cloud is already in the pipeline.
An adapted version of the vjoon K4 cross media publishing platform is already in the works to assure compatibility with Adobe Creative Cloud products. Professional digital and print publications will continue to benefit from the latest Adobe products and vjoon K4 with this upgrade.
