Polestar's Jim Algar Runs 100k for Charity

Press release from the issuing company

Anyone who has worked with Jim Algar always knows that they can count on him to run that extra mile. However, last weekend, Jim outshone himself by even his own extremely demanding standards!

As part of the Help for Heroes fundraising week, Jim ran – yes, ran – 100 kilometres non-stop from London to Brighton.

Jim said, ‘Help for Heroes do a terrific job in supporting those men and women wounded protecting and serving this country. I wanted to do my bit to support their efforts.’

Jim set off at 8am last Saturday and completed the Herculean task at 06.41 on Sunday morning - despite having to contend with serious injury and a lot of pain.

‘Has anyone found my feet yet? The ones attached to my ankles can’t be mine - they are trying to kill me,’ is all he would say on the matter.

It is still not too late to support Jim’s massive achievement from the comfort of your desk or armchair. Please either follow the link below or contact him direct: www.bmycharity.com/jimalgar100k
