The session will be moderated by WhatTheyThink Senior Editor Cary Sherburne and feature three printers who have enhanced the web-to-print experience by adding the ability to manage and edit documents online. “Most print service providers understand the value of web to print, even if some haven’t implemented yet,” said Sherburne. “And there is more to web-to-print than simply buying business cards online. This session will feature three print service providers who have added advanced document capabilities to the web-to-print experience for their customers, adding new functionality and new revenue streams.  Join us to hear their stories.”

Sherburne will be joined by representatives from three very different companies with different backgrounds and stories to tell:

  • Edward Neuenschwander, Project Lead, Page Manager Quad/Graphics. Edward has an extensive background in the prepress industry over the last 31 years, primarily with high-end systems. He is also experienced in color correction/evaluation, retouching and page assembly using Adobe Creative Suite. Page Manager is Quad/Graphics’ hosted web-based publishing application.
  • Elias K. Jo, Yearbook Entrepreneur, Entourage Yearbooks. Entourage provides premium yearbook services to schools and organizations across North America, striving to be the easiest yearbook company to work with in the US through industry leading production turnaround times, competitive prices, and innovative yearbook services. Web-to-print and document production play a key role in the company’s ability to meet its objectives.
  • Jason Frueh Founder, MyCreativeShop.com.  Jason has spent the majority of his professional career in the technology industry, including 9 years at Microsoft. He is passionate about business process automation and has found a way to combine this passion with his love of online companies by founding MyCreativeShop, learning the ins and outs of web development and finding business success.

“There is no question that a web presence, including ecommerce, is almost table stakes in today’s online world,” said Randy Davidson, CEO of WhatTheyThink. “This session will explore how to make that presence even more extraordinary using real-world examples. We appreciate the generosity of CHILI Publish in sponsoring this important industry event, making it available to our viewers at no charge.

Attendees will be able to participate in a live question and answer session to get the most from the experience and will be able to view and listen to the presentation using a standard Internet browser with audio streamed via computer.

About CHILI Publish

CHILI Publish was established in May 2010 by three entrepreneurs with a passion for the graphic arts world.

CHILI Publisher is an online document editor. As contrasted to desktop publishing applications, CHILI Publisher is designed to be integrated into web applications. Once integrated, it allows end-users to use tools comparable to those available in desktop applications. But since the tools are browser-based, user access can be restricted depending on the needs of the end-user. Graphic service providers buy a license, and are then able to offer services to their customers. A yearly maintenance fee covers updates and support.

The primary activity of CHILI Publish is the development of its powerful web-based CHILI Publisher software and the sales of the software through a value added partner channel or directly. CHILI Publish also provides instruction and training. CHILI Publisher (the hottest online document editor) is the Flagship product of CHILI Publish. CHILI Publish has its offices in Erpe, Belgium. Distribution is covered by partners around the world. For more information, visit www.chili-publish.com
