RSI's Dotworks Group to Showcase Complete Apollo Computer-to-Inkjet Solution at INFO*FLEX

Press release from the issuing company

New York - Recognition Systems, Inc. (RSI) today announces it will showcase the complete Dotworks Apollo Computer-to-Film solution at INFO*FLEX booth #920 in San Diego, on April 29-30, at the San Diego Convention Center.

Designed to meet the expansive production needs of today's flexo printer, RSI integrated its Dotworks direct negative 4 and 5 mil films with the powerful, open-architecture, Apollo RIP software; an inkjet printer/plotter; and all the tools needed for a professional digital workflow -- including training -- in this popular and affordable system.

"The Apollo is a logical next-step for flexo printers evolving into digital workflows, or expanding their capabilities," says RSI CEO, John McCusker. "RSI is ready with affordable, integrated systems and expertise that will make the transition seamless, and deliver higher profits, faster."

McCusker invites INFO*FLEX attendees to see, first-hand, the wide range of advantages they would enjoy with the Apollo system. These include, but are not limited to: the elimination of imagesetters, processors, chemistry and costly outsourced film; fewer remakes; and film output in just minutes.

The Apollo Computer-to-Inkjet System includes:

  • ClearJet Premium - a robust, matte surface waterproof film designed to perform in the most demanding production environments.
  • Apollo Matte - 5 mil matte film which resists dust while providing excellent drawdown.
  • Powerful RIP software package specifically designed and targeted to the needs of flexo prepress installations.
  • Options for desktop or wide format printers up to 60" wide.
