PRIMIR 2013 Spring Meeting to Reveal Latest Research Findings on Emerging Printing Technologies

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VAPRIMIR, the Print Industries Market Information and Research Organization, will welcome Tom Ashley, Director and Founder of Pivotal Resources USA to present the newest PRIMIR study findings on "Emerging Printing Technologies & Applications" at its Spring Meeting slated for April 8-10, 2013 at The Shores Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida.

A key element of any PRIMIR meeting is the presentation of research findings from recently completed PRIMIR research. This research has been underway for the past six months and PRIMIR members are eager to learn where new opportunities may exist beyond the commercial printing market. Mr. Ashley's session will kick-off a PRIMIR Member Exchange on the same topic. Complementing Tom's presentation, Doug Schardt, Product Manager with Komori will discuss the organization's newest printed electronics offering in a session titled, "Komori: Technology for the Future."

PRIMIR Meeting sessions are data-rich and full of actionable solutions to help attendees investigate and pursue new business opportunities in times, such as these, when the market challenges conventional business practices. The PRIMIR Spring Meeting again meets this challenge by providing the most current programming for industry managers and experts from across the graphic communications industry to learn about opportunities in emerging printing technologies, business development techniques, and strategic thinking. To that end, several sessions will also highlight print firm success stories.

Daytona Beach was specifically selected as the site of the Spring Meeting so that PRIMIR attendees can tour the 11-acre campus of DME—a firm featured in case studies for several recent PRIMIR reports. As noted in one recent PRIMIR study, "DME experiences solid growth at a time when recovery is still on the minds of most businesses."

PRIMIR meeting participants will also hear first-hand from Sundance Marketing Solutions executives John Henry Ruggieri, Director of Operations, and Brad Taylor, Director of Business Development, about their experiences in "Beating the Odds: Finding New Opportunities in the Printing Industry."

Additional meeting highlights will include a keynote presentation titled: "The Rise of Business Development: Creating—Rather than Getting Business," by industry guru Dr. Joe Webb, Director of WhatTheyThink.com's Economics and Research Center; and also hear from, Sammy Papert, President of Wormhole, who will challenge attendees in his session to "Think Differently—Break Out of Your Box." Rounding out the program, self-professed "Standards Guy and Frequent Flyer" Larry Warter of Warter Colors will explore "Industry Standards: Why You Should Be Engaged."
