CCS Printing Expands Digital Print offering with HP Indigo 7600

Press release from the issuing company

Bellevue, WA – CCS Printing, a full-service provider of digital and lithographic commercial printing, mailing, integrated marketing communications and fulfillment solutions, today announced it has strengthened its digital offset printing ability with the addition of a new Hewlett-Packard Indigo 7600 Digital Color Press.

The six-color HP Indigo 7600 delivers the most advanced printing available on the market with its digital offset technology, which combines the best of both digital and offset printing.

"We invested in the Indigo to broaden the types of projects we can print and to improve turnaround," said Kevin Sullivan, president of CCS Printing. "The Indigo allows us to print on a wider variety of substrates including synthetics and static clings, heavier board weight stocks and pre-die cut packaging applications. The 7600 will allow CCS to print on a larger sheet size as well.”

"The Indigo offers some very advanced and different printing solutions," said Sullivan. "We can now print with white ink, which is a big creative advantage for special effects. We can also print on metallic paper and very dark colored stocks, creating a lot of fun options for customers, particularly in the marketing communications and creative agency markets."

The Indigo 7600 also meets GRACoL 7 certification which will allow CCS to closely match output to lithographic offset printed projects if a client needs a quick turn partial delivery of a project.

“We’re super excited to be investing in our business at this level,” said Sullivan. “And we’re looking forward to showing why print is still very relevant in the creative mix. Print should complement the media mix because it can be larger than life and a printed piece is more lasting than an email or web page. With the new HP Indigo 7600 we’ll continue our rapid rate of growth in the Puget Sound.”
