Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y., February 04 -- For more than 35 years, G.E. Richards Graphic Supplies has been a dealer of KODAK solutions, including prepress consumables, equipment and workflow. The two companies are now extending that relationship to include Kodak’s portfolio of analog flexographic plates, KODAK MIRACLON letterpress plates, and KODAK RIGILON molding plates. Effective immediately, G.E. Richards will have access to a broader portfolio of Kodak’s packaging technology and will become an even more active channel partner in the growing packaging market.

“Kodak and G.E. Richards share a common, singular focus on customers and delivering them exceptional value and service,” said John Anderson, Kodak’s US&C Segment Sales & Product Marketing Director, Packaging. “The extension of this longstanding relationship was a logical evolution that will enable Kodak to reach a greater number of customers with our technology and solutions, in an efficient and effective manner.”

The agreement will enable G.E. Richards to offer KODAK letterpress and analog plates in all of its U.S. branch locations, which are located throughout the country.

“Kodak is an important partner, and the extension of our relationship with them enhances both of our companies’ ability to deliver outstanding service to our packaging customers,” said Jeff Wagner, Vice President, G.E. Richards. “We know firsthand that Kodak’s packaging technology is outstanding, and these new plates are a welcome addition to the broad portfolio of products that we offer.”

It is good to see Kodak progressing in their Go to Market in the Packaging industry. They are offering some much needed alternatives to film imaging as well as offering water wash letterpress plates that can be in short supply in the USA. GE Richards, as a stocking fulfillment company will help clients better manage their supply chain.
