Techkon Presents New Generation of SpectroDens

TECHKON, one of the leading manufacturers of color measuring instruments for the printing industry presents its new generation of the SpectroDens handheld spectro-densitometers.

SpectroDens is the most innovative product of TECHKON. Beside the color display which shows the measured hue of the ink, the instrument offers a scan function, making measuring tasks a breeze and reducing the time for quality control remarkably. Single measurements are also done within a second. The menu driven user interface is intuitively designed and after a few minutes easy to use.

By using the latest LED technology, the instrument fulfils the requirements in accordance to ISO 13655 and offers the measuring conditions M0 – M3 for a better judgment of printing substrates with optical brightener agents (OBA). In addition the instrument can be equipped with a Wifi board to transfer all measured data wireless via Wifi network.

The new models will replace the former SpectroDens family from now on. With the choice of models TECHKON offers every user the right tool and measuring functions for his tasks – from entry level to advanced applications.

The Basic model is equipped with all densitometric functions. The Advanced version will also check spot colors and SpectroDens Premium is a full range spectrophotometer with many helpful special functions. The Advanced and Premium models additionally offer a huge memory for sample and reference measurements and include a large color library with standard color books of special colors and PSO/ISO/Fogra/G7 reference values. Each model offers now many more functions than the previous one.

For the introduction of the new SpectroDens generation, TECHKON grants lucrative trade-in offers for old instruments when switching to the new technology.
