Vastex to Exhibit FESPA Brasil 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Vastex just announced its participation in the FESPA Brasil 2013 event which will be held from March 13th to 16th at the blue pavilion of Expo Center Norte, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The exhibition will show the main hardware and software solutions for the visual communication, large format, screen printing, digital printing, signage and digital signage segments.

Vastex is a leading screen printing company that has years of experience: Vastex was founded in 1960 by Mike and Fannie Vasilantone. Mike was an artist and inventor who became involved in the screen printing industry for fabrics and signs when he concieved of a small shirt printer. The only shirts being printed in any volume at that time were bowling shirts, which had pleats that needed to be flattened out in order to print the team and player names. Mike designed and patented the "Stretch Cab," known today as a "jacket hold down." To print in more than one color, he designed and patented the multicolor print head, now used on virtually every manual screen printing machine in the world. In addition, Vastex holds a patent for air flow used in infrared conveyor dryers.

Mike and Fannie's son, Mark Vasilatone, purchased Vastex International from his parents in 1999 and has since expanded the company domestically as well as internationally into more than 35 countries.

The Vastex product line encompasses everything needed to start a garment screen printing business including: manual screen printing presses from 1 station/1 color to 10 stations/10 colors, athletic numbering systems, infrared conveyor dryers, flash cure units, screen exposing units, pin registration systems, screen washout booths and a variety of utility equipment--available as individual units or complete shop packages. "We hand-build the highest quality machinery -- all fabricated, assembled and tested in our factory in Allentown, Pennsylvania USA," says Mark Vasilantone.

Strong and growing market

For Vastex, the exponential growth of the Brazilian market is consistent with the company's growth worldwide. "I am confident that, once the Brazilian customers actually see Vastex equipment in person, they will understand the quality and value Vastex offers and look no further. In addition, the equipment will be sold and supported locally through Brazilian distributors," adds Mark.

"Vastex offers unequalled quality, performance and durability backed by the longest warranties in the industry: 25 years on V2000HD presses and 15 years on flash cure and conveyor dryer heaters. This, plus affordable prices and the security of dealing with a world-leading 50-year company, takes the risk and uncertainty out of buying screen printing equipment, enabling the customer to focus on printing of quality garments that generate high profit".

FESPA Brasil 2013: a perfect way to know Vastex

For Vastex, being in FESPA Brasil 2013 is extremely important to reveal the quality and ease of use features of Vastex equipment, which is impossible to show in ads and online media. "FESPA Brasil 2013 is a perfect venue for customers to see and operate Vastex equipment in person. FESPA Brasil also provides Vastex with the opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to the Brazilian market and to introduce Brazilian customers to the Vastex managers who can provide valuable advice at the show. In addition, the show enables Vastex to strengthen relationships with existing distributors and to establish additional relationships with distributors worthy of representing Vastex International", concludes Mark.
