Unisource Intros Green Gauge at BOMA Show

Press release from the issuing company

Unisource Worldwide, Inc., one of the largest privately held companies in the United States and a global provider of comprehensive customer solutions including facility supplies and equipment, is introducing its proprietary Green Gauge report to the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International members at the 2012 Every Building Conference and Expo in Seattle, Wash., June 24-26.

“Unisource’s Green Gauge report provides customers with an easy-to-read analysis of their certified green cleaning product purchase history compared to LEED requirements,” said Steve Topor, Senior Vice President, Product Management – Facility Supplies.  “The report can be run for specific time periods, and allows customers to review multiple buildings as a group or by individual delivery location.   The report also provides a short list of currently used items that do not meet LEED requirements.   This allows a Unisource Sales Professional to quickly identify product changes needed to meet LEED standards.”

Unisource representatives will be in Booth 1213 within the Green Pavilion at The Every Building Show with more information about the Green Gauge and other value-added services the company offers building owners and managers.

With an extensive supplier base, national distribution network, logistics expertise, and highly-trained nationwide sales force, Unisource offers convenient access and reliable and timely delivery of industry-leading cleaning and facility maintenance products.  The company offers a vast array of customer solutions that fulfill their needs for maintenance supplies, cleaning chemicals and equipment, sanitary papers, packaging materials, and office papers.

BOMA’s 16,500-plus members own or manage more than 9 billion square feet of commercial properties.  BOMA International’s mission is to enhance the human, intellectual, and physical assets of the commercial real estate industry through advocacy, education, research, standards, and information.
