Tuesday, May 15, 2012

Press release from the issuing company

In a continued push to provide superior customer service as the company expands, Vibrant Graphics has promoted Alex Dott to the position of production control manager.

Before his promotion, Dott served the company as prepress and design team leader. He has been influential in solidifying Vibrant Graphics’ excellent record of customer relations, problem resolution, and on-time customer delivery. In his new position, he will oversee the entire production process.

“We have impressed our customers with our responsive, flexible and reliable service, and we are committed to keep it at that high level in future,” Roger Wrass, general manager, said.  “In his new position Alex will be responsible for providing the leadership, coaching, team development and project management. I am confident that he will inspire our team to achieve on an even higher level.”

The production control manager has the responsibility of directing workflow throughout the plant. Dott will be responsible for optimizing the entire workflow through continuous improvement processes, and he will supervise the overall production planning and forecasting of all materials. He will also directly supervise the prepress team, maintain positive working relationships between the sales team and customers, and develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.

Dott graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor’s in graphic design. He joined Vibrant Graphics in 2008, and helped the company win the award for best self-promotional printing in the annual HP Indigo Digital Labels and Packaging Awards Contest in 2010.
