Shawmut and u-connect, two sister companies that work in tandem to integrate print through strategic marketing, today announced the launch of their company’s mobile website. The mobile site was created as a way to showcase the advantages of integrating traditional print and today’s technology.
Individual sites were developed for employees of the Shawmut and u-connect executive, marketing and sales teams, and both companies have plans to create individual sites for employees of other departments in the coming months. The sites can be visited by scanning a QR Code on the employee’s business card or by visiting the desktop version of the sites.
“Today’s clients and prospects live in a digital and mobile world. In order to effectively communicate who we are to them, we made the decision to take advantage of today’s technology-based solutions and integrate them with a traditional business tool – the business card,” said Michael Peluso, Shawmut Executive Vice President and u-connect President. “The mobile sites not only give users insight into the background of the person who provided them with the business card, but the sites also provide company information and links to our various social media platforms including our company blog.”
