Impressions Media (Wilkes Barre, PA) has purchased a press electrical control system upgrade from manroland web systems Inc.

Installation of this upgrade will begin in Q4 of 2012, and will initially include the folder controls. Printing units, controls, and upgrades to the press management consoles will be executed over time on the 17-year-old manroland GEOMAN press.

In partnership with the Pressroom Manager, IT, and their own in-house services at Impressions Media, the manroland web systems team determined the need for the upgrade to eliminate system obsolescence, increase production and efficiencies, and improve troubleshooting and technological communication capabilities.
