Intec DMP450 at Number 10

Press release from the issuing company

Supporting British business lies at the heart of the coalition government’s policies. Forget quantitative easing - there is no better assistance than placing an order. And that is exactly what the Cabinet Office, which supports Prime Minister David Cameron and the Cabinet of the United Kingdom, has done.

On hearing about the capabilities of the Intec range of heavy stock colour digital printers, the Cabinet Office put in a request for Peter Swann, Channel Manager for Intec Printing Solutions Limited in the UK and Ireland, to visit with samples. After reviewing user stories at www.intecprinters.com it was decided that an Intec printer would meet the government’s need to print on a range of heavy stocks.

The Intec DMP450 multi media production unit was deemed the most suitable. This industry-beating system incorporates a multi-substrate feeder and stacker to enable printing of up to 25kgs of media at a time. It can also handle stocks up to 600gsm thick.

“I already have customers who print for Royalty and celebrities and to add 10 Downing Street to this list is fabulous news,” says Peter Swann. “It shows that the British government has complete faith in our product particularly during a time when it has to be so careful with taxpayers’ money.

“The DMP450 is located in the print room at 10 Downing Street and is being used to produce everything from business cards through to invitations, government documents, white papers and reports.”

Robert Syms, MP (Member of Parliament) for Poole (where Intec is headquartered), was pleased to hear of Intec’s success.

He says: “Intec Printing Solutions is doing what we need to do as a country, which is getting out around the world and selling British products to emerging markets. This is a solution to our current economic difficulties - well done Intec Printing Solutions,” he concludes.

Intec Printing Solutions Limited distributes its systems to over 70 countries via an extensive network of partners.
