EFI™ (Nasdaq: EFII), a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today announced that commercial printer Pegasus Interprint has recently added EFI Digital StoreFront® to its workflow, which is built on the EFI Pace management system.

Pegasus Interprint is a leading commercial printer based in Van Nuys, Calif., specializing in solutions-based printing for over 40 years. In 2010, Pegasus Press and Interprint USA merged to become Pegasus Interprint, and continue to provide exceptional quality and excellent customer service.

The company has been using EFI Pace for more than three years to bring efficiencies to their business, and when the time came to add a Web-to-Print component, they again turned to EFI.

“EFI Digital StoreFront is a robust solution and the only one that can handle the size and complexity of orders from our largest customers,” said Scott Perry, Web and IT administrator. “It gives customers easier order capabilities and new options for using variable data print and other personalization technology. And Digital StoreFront’s integration with our Pace system saves a huge amount of time while also reducing costs and errors. This integration is critical, since information can be shared between the systems to streamline things like invoicing and inventory management. We look forward to adding a Fiery®-driven digital device to our operation later this year, to link into the Digital StoreFront and Pace workflow.”

Pegasus Interprint is using Digital StoreFront for a large national customer that places 1,200 to 1,400 orders each month. Most of these orders were sent by fax prior to the roll-out of Digital StoreFront, but now more than 300 area managers have a custom storefront to simplify and speed up the ordering process. “The customer is thrilled with Digital StoreFront!” notes Perry. Other customers, large and small, are also experiencing the benefits of the Web-to-Print platform.
