Press release from the issuing company

Xerox Corporation will point graphic communications providers toward new opportunities to grow their businesses, at the Graphics of the Americas Exposition and Conference in Miami Beach, Fla., March 1-3. Xerox will explore these growth opportunities in a panel discussion among leading Xerox graphic communications customers on March 2, as well as in the Xerox booth.

“Many graphic communications providers are uncovering great opportunities to serve their customers with digital technology, new communications services and solutions — successes we’ll be sharing at Graphics of the Americas,” said Gina Testa, vice president, Worldwide Graphic Communications Industry, Xerox Corporation.

Testa will lead the panel discussion, “The New Business of Communications…Opportunities for Printers,” which will take place on Friday, March 2 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. It will feature four print providers who have transformed their business models:

  • Roger Manning, owner, Banyan Printing
  • Mike Pannagio, founder and chief executive officer, DME
  • Mark Serbin, president, Serbin Printing
  • Richard Sierra, president, Nationwide Graphics at Dodd Communications

Visitors to Xerox booth No. 313 can create their own personalized Miami 1:1 Dining Guide with restaurant recommendations based upon their preferred cuisines. The recommendations are created in a cross-media campaign run on software from XMPie®, A Xerox company, and delivered via email and a personalized booklet.

Xerox also will showcase the Xerox Color 800 PressXerox 700i Digital Color Press and Xerox Color 550/560 Printer. Several Xerox Business Innovation Partners will participate in the booth exhibit: Avanti Computer Systems Limited, EFI, Prisme Technologies and CP Bourg.
