Satori Software Launches EasyTrack

Press release from the issuing company

Satori Software today launched EasyTrack, a mail stream monitoring add-on service for its Bulk Mailer and MailRoom ToolKit mailing preparation solutions. Mailers and their clients can now benefit from increased visibility into the USPS mail stream to more accurately predict mail delivery windows and identify possible delivery issues.

USPS automation equipment scans First-Class Mail® and Standard Mail® letters and flats as they pass through. When the mail pieces are marked with a properly encoded Intelligent Mail® barcode, the raw scan data is made available to the mailer. EasyTrack transforms this raw scan data into valuable and easy-to-understand information Satori Software customers can use to track and analyze their mail from the time it is deposited at USPS through its predicted delivery.

“When Satori Software set out to provide a mail tracking service, we had two key objectives. That it be powerful enough to report the status of a single piece of mail and that it be easy for mailers to gain value without extensive training,” said Randy Hoefer, SVP of research and product strategy for Satori Software. “With EasyTrack, our customers can take advantage of mail tracking data with simple, actionable reports that really help improve their service.”

EasyTrack customers may select whether or not to track a mailing during the presort process. When the mail pieces are marked with a properly encoded Intelligent Mail barcode, the EasyTrack service retrieves the raw scan data automatically — there is no manual import or export of mailing data. The EasyTrack mail stream monitoring service supports scan data collected from both Basic and Full-Service Intelligent Mail barcodes.

The EasyTrack add-on service provides a full set of analysis tools including preset and ad hoc reports, maps and piece-level tracking of individual letters and flats. For more information, or to order EasyTrack, contact Satori Software at 1-800-553-6477 or visit www.satorisoftware.com.
