NAPL Executive Briefing Discussion on 2012 Growth Strategies

Press release from the issuing company

Opportunities for industry growth are abundant for companies prepared to take advantage of them. That was the message delivered to some two dozen executives from area printing companies who attended yesterday’s National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) Executive Briefing and roundtable discussion on 2012 Growth Strategies.

The invitation-only program, held at NAPL’s East Rutherford headquarters, featured a panel discussion moderated by Association President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D., and featuring NAPL Senior Vice Presidents Tim Fischer and John Hyde, and Vice President and sales expert Mike Philie. The event was the inaugural program in the NAPL 2012 Management Briefing Series of workshops for entrepreneurial leaders in the graphic communications industry.

Throughout the interactive half-day program, the NAPL executives, who together have worked with hundreds of companies nationwide to plan and execute successful programs to grow revenue organically and through mergers and acquisitions, fielded a number of questions from the company representatives and facilitated a lively discussion on a variety of topics, including the current printing industry environment, merger and acquisition strategies, and growing sales in a changing marketplace.

“It was great to see these executives really engaged in an interactive discussion on such diverse topics, all related to strategies for growth in theindustry environment of 2012 and beyond,” said Fischer. “From developing a value proposition or growing top account relationships to adding new capabilities and dealing with pricing pressures, our attendees provided a frontline view of today’s tough issues and a real-life approach to not only solving them, but developing solutions that will leverage their company’s growth.
