Press release from the issuing company

Xitron, a leading developer of open prepress workflow systems, announces that its line of high-end commercial and specialty printing Harlequin RIPs, prepress workflows and device interfaces for CtP, direct imaging presses and proofers are being demonstrated at All In Print China, November 14-17, 2011 in Shanghai, China.
“Xitron has seen significant growth in the adoption of our products in the Asian market, specifically in China,” stated Mark Eisenschenk, Xitron's President and Chief Executive Officer. “All In Print China presented an excellent venue for us to display and demonstrate our highly regarded line of RIP, workflow and device interfaces to this rapidly growing market.”
Xitron’s recently announced Navigator version 9 Harlequin RIP, Navigator version 5 workflow and new output device interfaces offer:
·         Support for Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems
·         Increased optimization for PDFs with transparencies
·         Extended PDF/X support
·         Support for the Pantone Plus library
·         64-bit Windows drivers for Xitron USB interfaces
·         Simple out-of-the-box color accuracy for Gracol, SWOP and Fogra printing conditions with Epson and Canon proofers and graphic arts printers

·         Interfaces for hundreds of output devices including proofers, CtP systems, direct imaging presses, inkjet proofers, and production printers
“Working closely with our Chinese distributors, Xitron developed solutions to meet the needs of this expanding market including a version of our popular Navigator RIP in both traditional and simplified Chinese,” stated R. Patrick French, Xitron’s Vice President of Business Development. “All In Print China has been an excellent venue with the large crowds expressing such a strong interest in the graphic arts market.”
Xitron technology, including the Navigator RIP and device interfaces are being shown by several Chinese CtP manufacturers.
“The flexibility of our workflow technology allowed Xitron to offer a version meeting the unique technology requirements of the Chinese market,” stated Mark Scarbrough, Vice President Product Development. “The workflow complements Xitron’s existing Chinese language Navigator RIP.”
Participation at All In Print China is a part of Xitron’s Asian tour including trips to China and Japan for meetings with OEM and distributors covering China, Thailand, Japan, Latin America and other regions throughout the world.
