Neenah Paper Introduces New Weights in ENVIRONMENT Folding Board

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

A Greener 100 Percent Post-Consumer Premium Packaging Solution

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Neenah Paper is building on the success of its ENVIRONMENT Folding Board 18pt. product introduced last year. The current update adds three more calipers – 20pt., 22pt. and 24pt. – to give you more options in durable packaging solutions. All three 100 percent post-consumer board products are available in 100 PC White. Like the original 18pt. product, these heavier options are the preferred products for the conversion of folding cartons because they offer greater dimensional stability, enabling the product to flow through scoring, folding and assembly processes more efficiently, while providing a perfect surface for printing, embossing, foil stamping, die cutting and gluing.

All four weights consist of 100 percent post-consumer fiber content, and are FSC certified, made with 100 percent renewable energy and made Carbon Neutral Plus. This high-performance paperboard with an incredible 92 brightness is the perfect solution for greener premium packaging.

ENVIRONMENT Folding Board is an ideal choice for premium packaging such as folding boxes for the health care, cosmetic, electronics, retail and fragrance markets, especially when sustainable packaging is required. Consumer awareness of the indelible connection between packaging and the environment continues to rise. As part of the marketing plan and the design process, integrating environmental packaging priorities up front offers immediate consumer recognition of a company's green platform. In a beautiful uncoated finish, ENVIRONMENT Folding Board meets the rising demand for sustainable and durable packaging papers with unmatched performance on press.
