TKS Introduces Digital Ink Jet Web Press

(Dallas, TX) TKS will be promoting and introducing the new JETLEADER 1500 digital ink jet press. This new revolutionary drop on demand web fed press can print a multitude of finished products and formats in line. TKS with a long history of offset press manufacturing has developed this press for Newspaper and commercial type printing. We are the first major press vendor to develop digital ink jet printing and then integrate it with other TKS manufactured components. It has variable image and format capability. The press can run on a variety of paper substrates and uses a water based ink. The JETLEADER uses no plates, has no dampening system, uses less electricity than a conventional offset press and also takes up less space. Some of the general specifications are:
Web width 24.00" (based on 12" broadsheet page)
Cutoff 21.5"
Speed 492 fpm (150m/minute)
600 x 600 d.p.i.

This press was developed by TKS who has over 100 years experience in rotary offset press experience.
