Lexington, Kentucky USA -- WhatTheyThink today announced that nominations for the second annual Print CEO of the Year award will close on August 1st.  Nominations can be submitted here. A qualifying Print CEO must have been in his or her position for at least two years and have demonstrated inspirational and innovative leadership of a company that has shown success during his or her tenure.  Success is measured by metrics such as revenue or profit growth, corporate transformation initiatives and/or environmental leadership, or other qualifications the nominator deems important. Awards will be presented at the University Club in Chicago at a special invitation-only dinner and cocktail celebration on Saturday September 10th.

"We have been very pleased with the number of nominations we have received for this prestigious award," said Randy Davidson, CEO of WhatTheyThink. "We still believe there are deserving CEOs that have not been nominated, and encourage leading printing companies to get their nominations submitted. WhatTheyThink is again working with renowned artist and sculptor Mac Worthington to create awards that are memorable and are themselves works of art."

Awards will be presented to four runner-ups and the CEO of the Year at an invitation only cocktail reception and dinner on September 10th at Chicago's prestigious University Club, sponsored by Presstek and New Direction Partners.  "We are very happy to have Joe Davis of Consolidated Graphics, the inaugural Print CEO of the Year for 2010. join us as to share his thoughts on the finalists and help pass the torch to this year's winner," added Davidson.

Nomination guidelines and the nomination form for Print CEO of the Year are available online.  Make your recommendation for Print CEO of the Year today.  Nominations close August 1st, and the five finalists will be named August 15th.  The finalists will be honored at the dinner on September 10th and the winner will be announced. Please note that nominations are open to CEOs who run printing and/or marketing services companies. Nominations for vendor CEOs will not be accepted as part of this program, although we welcome vendors to nominate qualifying print CEOs.
