Anthem Worldwide Wins Six Silver PAC Leadership Awards

TORONTO, – Anthem Worldwide, the strategic design division of Schawk, whose integrated global network provides innovative solutions to articulate, unify and manage brand impact to create compelling and consistent brand experiences, announced that its Toronto office has been distinguished with six Silver PAC Leadership Awards, which recognize the leaders of packaging and the value of graphic and technical design as well as sustainability best practices.

Anne Dean, managing director of Anthem Worldwide's Toronto office, said, "To be recognized by our peers as an industry leader is gratifying. The PAC Leadership Awards acknowledge the power of strategic packaging design and world-class execution to influence the consumer's path-to-purchase. Design drives growth and helps our clients win the battle at the shelf."

The Packaging Association has been the voice of the Canadian packaging industry since 1950 and has a prestigious history of packaging competitions dating back to 1953. In 2010, the association rebranded as PAC - The Packaging Association in recognition of its expansion into the U.S. while maintaining its deep Canadian roots.

In the Rigid/semi rigid category, Anthem Worldwide was awarded Silver for its work on:

Nestle Jam-Packed Ice Cream Brand Owner: Nestle Canada Inc. Design: Anthem Worldwide Structural design: Jokey Plastics Printer: IML Inc.

Anthem's parent company Schawk, was also recognized and awarded for its executional excellence on the McCain It's All Good Superfries, Mike's Hard Lemonade, and McCain Ultra Thin Crust Pizza projects. In addition, Schawk (Toronto) won five PAC Leadership Awards as the premedia partner for packaging and point-of-purchase for Les Aliments Ultima Inc., Unilever North America, and Unilever Canada.

Bob Cockerill, regional managing director of Schawk Canada, said, "This measure of excellence by PAC confirms the technical quality of work that Schawk delivers in support of a brand's expression on packaging, the most technically demanding consumer touchpoint."
