Thursday, January 22, 2004

Press release from the issuing company

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL, January 21, 2004- Lucid Dream Software is slashing the price on its OnTimeProof solution by 50 percent for the unlimited version for the Graphics of the Americas show. The pre-show price of the OnTimeProof softproofing and remote approval management system is $15,995. Limited versions start at $2,500. Lucid Dream Software will exhibit OnTimeProof at the xpedx booth, #1719, the EZ Hi Tech booth, #1221, and the Global Pre-press booth, #1671.  Lucid Dream's OnTimeProof is the only Web-based softproofing solution that integrates seamlessly within a Delta workflow, cutting production time and costs. The software solution features "digital imposition proofing," which allows users to produce online page-based proofs directly from a final imposed signature, increasing accuracy and speeding production. OnTimeProof also features the ability to annotate files collaboratively during the proofing process. JDF support completes the automated workflow process. OnTime Proof is designed for use within a variety of workflows including Heidelberg Delta and Meta Dimension RIPs, and the Harlequin ScriptWorks RIP. "Production people attending the show will be able to purchase OnTimeProof at a specially reduced price," says David Lewis, president, Lucid Dream. "It's an excellent chance to enhance workflow cost-effectively. The software's online imposition proofing is a virtual color Dylux. OnTime Proof eliminates production steps, reduces costs, and increases revenues from existing clients, all while helping to generate new clients. It is a powerful production and marketing tool for printers."
