C-t-PLUS Receives Printing Award for Electronic Manipulation

Press release from the issuing company

Milwaukee, WI-January 20, 2004—C-t-PLUS Inc., a full-service graphic arts solution company offering both traditional and cutting-edge technologies, has been given the most coveted award in the printing industry... the “Benny,” for the electronic manipulation category. The Printing Industry of America awarded the Best of Category File Manipulation Benny to C-t-PLUS for its work for Tivol in which C-t-PLUS handled the color retouching and finishing work for Tivol’s 2003 jewelry catalogue. Tivol is a specialty jewelry business headquartered in Kansas. The largest and most prestigious companies in the printing industry compete in the competition and the Bennys recognize those companies who produce the best in print media and display a commitment to quality through their work. Other honors are also given as part of the competition. In order to be considered for the national honor, C-t-PLUS first won at the local level in the pre-press category, then won at the state level in the file manipulation category. “This was quite an accomplishment to receive such a coveted national honor,” said Dennis Redman, founder and president of C-t-PLUS. “We focus our business on not only meeting the traditional graphic arts needs companies have but also pursuing technological advancements to help companies be more successful in the future.” The Benny isn’t the only recognition C-t-plus has received of late. The Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC) identified C-t-PLUS as a 2003 Future 50 company…one of the fastest growing, young companies in Metro Milwaukee. According to the MMAC documentation, those companies recognized demonstrated resilience in difficult economic times while increasing sales and employment through innovative products and services, outstanding customer service and differentiation among their competitors. This was the first year for C-t-PLUS to receive this honor.
