Press release from the issuing company

Chestnut Hill, MA: Dana Consulting, a firm that focuses on helping printers and their customers communicate more effectively, has announced that "Put It on Paper! Every Person’s Guide to the Printing Industry," is now available in both soft cover and hard cover. "Put It on Paper!" is a 136-page guide to working effectively with commercial printers, written by industry consultant and writer Margie Gallo Dana. Books are available at http://www.xlibris.com/PutItonPaper.html. The book’s Table of Contents as well as an excerpt is also accessible at this Web site link. Written in plain English, "Put It on Paper!" is a handy tool for everyone connected to printing and the allied arts, including the following: - Printers – who can give the book as a gift to customers and prospects. - Print Buyers – who want to learn how to work more effectively with printers. - New Sales & Service Reps – who need an excellent primer about buyer issues. - Graphic Designers – who need to get up to speed about working with printers. - Students – who are studying design, prepress, or communication arts in high school, college, or university. - Businesspeople – who work with printers…but haven’t a clue how to do it! "Put It on Paper!" is organized into nine chapters, including Tips for Beginners, Choosing – and Keeping – a Printer, Preparing Your Materials, and Working Together. It was originally published as an ebook (still available as a PDF at www.printconsulting.com). Early reviews of the book have been outstanding. Industry expert Frank Romano, of the RIT School of Print Media, wrote: "Put It on Paper!" is like a roadmap. It tells you how to get where you are going when you are going to print. Margie Gallo Dana has put a cornucopia of ideas, tips, and common sense into easy-to-digest nuggets that you can apply immediately. If you buy print, or might buy print, or know someone who buys print, this handy little book is just for you . . . and them." Corporate print buyer Dan Rollins of John Hancock Funds, wrote: "Put It on Paper!" captures the technical knowledge as well as the intangible know-how that a print buyer needs to be successful. I also highly recommend this book to graphic designers as well as buyers…I wish I had this book when I started out." Quebecor Sales Executive Jim Hamilton wrote: "This is a go-to book from a go-to person who has demystified the printing process. Margie explains in clear, no-nonsense terms the technical aspects of printing in a refreshing style, supporting her points by acknowledging her network of industry experts…Besides this book’s appeal to buyers, it should be required reading for designers, paper merchants and printers." Resellers, including libraries & bookstores, and wholesalers, can’t order books online, but should contact the Book Order Dept. at Orders@Xlibris.com or at 1-888-795-4274 x276.
