Appleton manufacturing offers the Safe-Slab Core Recycler in three models

Monday, April 11, 2011

Press release from the issuing company

Appleton, WI - Appleton Manufacturing Division offers their Safe-Slab Core Recycler in heavy, medium and light duty models.  The Safe-Slab Core Recycler offers blade free roll slabbing and core recycling. Safe-Slab Core Recycler quickly, safely and automatically removes leftover roll material so cores can be reused and scrap material recycled. Unlike other systems that utilize moving blades to cut away remaining material, or workers slicing away with utility knives, the Safe-Slab Core Recycler simply unwinds remaining material onto a coreless shaft, separating perfectly good cores from the roll without risk to workers or the core.

A recent comment from a customer tells of his success with the Safe-Slab Core Recycler. "The SSCR (Safe-Slab Core Recycler) is fantastic, it has paid for itself several times over". states Joseph Fisher, JCR Recycling,Cullman, Alabama. He goes on to say "it is the best machine I have bought save the bailer."

Safe-Slab Core Recycler works with various materials: paper, film, foils, plastics. Has variable unwinding speeds and offers an air powered option. Standard models handle rolls up to 96" wide and 32 inches in diameter.  Unit plugs into any grounded 110v electrical outlet.  Boasts a small footprint and custom configurations are available.  It increases the value of recycled waste once the core is removed and most of all reduces core usage due to recycling. For more information on the Safe-Slab Core Recycler and the complete line of Appleton Manufacturing Division's line of core cutting, core handling and material handling equipment call 800-531-2002 or visit them on the web at www.appletonmfg.com.
