Printing industry associations agree to merge

Press release from the issuing company

Roseville, MN – The merging of the Printing Industry of Minnesota, Inc. (PIMN) and the Printing Industry of the Midlands (PIM) has been approved by their respective boards. The new entity, Printing Industry Midwest, will be the fourth largest affiliate of the Printing Industries of America (PIA).

“A merger of our two associations will benefit members of both organizations through the expansion and sharing of our resources,” said Mark Jessen, President of Jessen Press and Chair of the PIMN Board of Directors. “The two groups can immediately reduce costs by sharing administrative, financial and other resources from one office located in Roseville, MN.”

David Radziej, former president of PIMN, will assume the role as president of Printing Industry Midwest, which includes members in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

“A merger will provide more services and networking opportunities,” said Hassan Igram, President of Cedar Graphics, and Chair of the PIM Board of Directors. “This merger will ensure that we continue to have access to valuable local and national resources.”
