Trekk Project added to case study database

Press release from the issuing company

Rockford, IL - A cross-media marketing program Trekk developed for NewPage Corp. was selected for the PODi Digital Print Case Study Database. The Dream, Green acquisition program will also be showcased at the PODi AppForum later this month.

PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, accepts submissions annually for its collection from print and marketing service providers around the world. "We look for the best the industry has to offer," said Rab Govil, President of Caslon, a PODi Affiliate. "We're happy to be able to share Trekk Cross-Media's great story with our audience. It's a superb example of using digital print to improve marketing effectiveness."

The successful program used multiple channels and touch points to generate leads for the NewPage sales force. A combination of print and digital communications drove prospects to a personalized landing page where they could register for a dream, green vacation. Visitors could also upload an image and receive a poster, allowing them to truly experience the paper's reproduction quality.

Personalized URLs also provided a mechanism for collecting additional prospect information. When a Web form was completed, automated emails alerted the sales and marketing staff. Not only did the program garner excellent results, but also allowed NewPage to capture valuable insight on individual prospects for future marketing efforts.

PODi is an industry initiative with hundreds of member companies, including Executive Board members EFI, HP, and Xerox. Over 380 digital print case studies are available online in the PODi searchable database. Access to case studies is complimentary for PODi members.
