MGI to sponsor Arts for a Better World in Miami

Melbourne, Fla. – MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the multi-substrate digital press and finishing solution manufacturer, will be participating as a sponsor of Arts for a Better World, held December 1-5, 2010 in Miami, Florida.
 
Held during Art Basel Miami Beach, the United States' premiere art show, Arts for a Better World is a bold and audacious endeavor to unite a large-scale commercial exhibition with the non-profit community, to convey a compelling message about the role of art in crafting a better world for future generations. More than 40 internationally renowned artists have been selected to participate, hailing from countries such as Argentina, Congo, Cuba, Ecuador, England, France, Haiti, Nigeria, Panama, South Africa, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela, working in mediums including contemporary photography, painting, sculpture and installations.
 
Arts for a Better World's charitable partners, Save the Children, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society and Water.org, have come together to exhibit their respective projects under one roof and will share five percent of the event's total artwork sales.
 
MGI Digital Graphic Technology is participating in Arts for a Better World as a sponsor, providing printed materials for on-site use, including VIP & Press badges, press kit folders, and printed artwork replicas, among others. In addition to providing printed materials, MGI's Meteor DP60 Pro multi-substrate digital press and UVarnish offline flood UV coater are featured on-site in the Print Workshop section of the event, providing attendees and artists a demonstration of the impact a versatile multi-substrate digital press can have on the art world and promoting sustainability via the ability to produce prints on-demand in a desired quantities as small as one, eliminating archiving and virtually eliminating waste. MGI provides an environmentally-friendly set of digital solutions without liquid inks or chemicals, low decibels and the ability to fully recycle printed materials.
