Press release from the issuing company

Fairfax, Virginia - SGIA recently joined forces with Carol Spieckerman, and her consulting firm, Newmarketbuilders (NMB), to provide leading-edge retail industry insights and strategic resources that will prepare specialty imagers for high-value retail opportunities.

"SGIA is adding valuable services and support activities to help members better understand and navigate the retail sector," said Michael Robertson, SGIA's President and CEO. "SGIA members need to improve their competitive position in the supply chain and Newmarketbuilders will be a key partner in this effort. They have expertise that will greatly benefit the SGIA community."

"Newmarketbuilders is proud to partner with SGIA to provide retail thought leadership to this Association and to support an industry that works on both sides of the table in retail," said Spieckerman.

In the coming months, SGIA and NMB will roll out a platform of resources that will guide imagers through the complex and fast-moving retail landscape and arm them with the insights they need to drive new success with both retailers and brands.

Business Development Conference
Additionally, SGIA is hosting a Business Development Conference (Denver, May 11-12) that will explore opportunities in the retail sector. This hard-hitting conference, featuring Spieckerman as the opening speaker, offers a mix of expert presentations, panel discussions and in-depth case studies focused on how companies can best position themselves for success.
