Marine Marketers of America taps Thaddeus B. Kubis to national board position

Thaddeus B. Kubis, president of NAK Integrated Marketing and managing director of pointgarage.com, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Marine Marketers of America.
A 30-year veteran of print, advertising, marketing and a well-known speaker supporting on line training and converging media, Kubis was tapped to complete a two-year remaining term previously held by John Wisse.
"We are very pleased to have Thad work with us on the board and appreciate that he brings a wealth of solid marketing expertise to the position, as well as a healthy degree of enthusiasm in helping us launch an all-new webinar program to benefit our members," said MMA President Wanda Kenton Smith.
Kubis will offer his experience to institute a value-added online webinar series for association members and non-members, slated to launch the first quarter of 2011. The MMA webinar series will address some of the most critical marketing topics of the day including Emerging Technologies, CRM, MROI, Converging Media, Social Media and Networking, among others.

Kubis also holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master license with a sail and towing endorsement and is active sailing the Northeast, the East Coast of the United States, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. He is also an American Sailing Association certified Keelboat and Catamaran Sailing Instructor.
