September 29, 2003 -- At Graph Expo/Converting Expo 2003, Heidelberg will feature its portfolio of professional services tailored specifically to help digital printers increase profitability by optimizing workflow solutions and increasing process efficiency. - Workflow Consulting Group: AIM (Automate, Integrate, Migrate): This consulting and integration initiative, supported by Heidelberg engineers, product development managers and business development experts, provides solutions to Heidelberg's digital print customers by integrating Heidelberg's digital presses and software workflow products with existing workflows, legacy systems and existing equipment at the customer site. At Graph Expo, consultants will be on hand in the Heidelberg booth to help customers reach the next level of process improvements, whether that means optimizing the entire print production process or smoothly integrating Heidelberg products. - NexPert VDP FastStart: This service, a "starter kit" for businesses new to variable data printing, enables businesses to get going quickly on VDP. The program – a two-day on-site seminar – is designed to provide an overview of the various operational components, workflow requirements and VDP software “tips and tricks” for developing a successful variable data solution. The first day will help key representatives of the organization attain a common understanding of variable printing and how to manage a variable print project. On the second day, Heidelberg’s VDP specialist provides hands-on training and application development. At Graph Expo, Heidelberg will demonstrate a wide variety of variable data jobs. - Business Development Services: Heidelberg’s Business Development Services consultants work to educate the print communications community about digital printing technology and leverage those solutions to achieve high impact and business profitability. They offer a wide variety of consulting services and value-add tools, including analysis of a customer’s business, development of business and marketing plans, a customized strategy to implement a digital printing solution, planning for variable data workflow and projects, and sales, marketing and technical coaching and training.
